Will a golf ball and two paper balls in the gas tank do any damage to the car? What kind?

Two guys I know were failed by their teacher, so they decided to shove a golf ball and two paper balls in the teacher’s gas tank. Will that even do anything to the car?

You could get a golf ball into some diesel trucks like F-250’s, but not a gas powered car. These guys are probably lying to you because they’re pathetic and insecure. Get new friends that aren’t losers.

Do golf club driver heads deaden?

My titanium driver seems to have lost it’s power and it’s distance. Is this possible?

yes they do loose distance slight cave in. call away was pathetic with their war birds. try a straight ruler across face. if you do not see space and edge of ruler or credit card lays flat. it is gone. it is not space aged titanium used in club heads it is heavy sand titanium. it does happen. happened to me to many times. along with shafts snapping on downswing. aftermarket shafts at that. you do have a dead driver. there is no question about it. replace a s a p. the sound is also another giveaway. plunk, thunk instead of bang.

What’s the most powerful driver (golf club) on tour?

I want to buy a driver that delivers the most distance. I usually hit a 290 – 310 mid – trajectory drive. I’d love to hit it a little further, but i’m not sure what to buy? please some recommendation. thanks

All the latest stuff from Adams, the Speedline, the Plus 10, seem to be getting rave reviews for really delivering the goods as a distance driver.

! would go somewhere where you can hit all these clubs before you buy them and see how they feel for you. Thats what golf is all about ….how the club and the shot feels in your hands…not someone elses. If you want a decent set of clubs for that preice (irons) I would look at those Tommy Armour 855’s.

I need an experienced golfer to give me the use/description/purpose of these nike golf balls?

I bought a box of recycled nike golf balls and a couple say stuff like "distance +control" in small letters on the sides of the balls but I would like you to tell me what each one is good for, here they are:

Nike 1:
Nike 2:
Nike 3:
Nike 4:
Nike Juice 2:
Nike Juice 3:
Nike Karma 3:
Those are the ones there are amd I would also like a recommendation for a ball I should use, I have plenty of power but unfortunately I shank the ball sideways half the time so i think I need a straight or accurate ball if that helps. Thanks!

Ok, dont be confused. there is no 1,2,3, and 4. Nike One comes in three models: Tour-for high clubspeed, normal spin. Tour D-high club head speed, high spin for stopping. Tour Vapor-lower spin, lower club speed. Nike Juice is just a softer two piece ball, or lower compression for lower club speed and it has a softer cover for more feel. Nike Karma is probably the ball you want. Nike’s most forgiving ball for lower clubspeed, lower compression, lower spin, which makes it more forgiving.

If you are not hitting the ball squarely, you will want a lower spin ball, so that when you put some sidespin on the ball, it wont be as bad…karma, noodle, titleist nxt would also be a consideration for you.

Good luck.

Are Titleist pro V1’s and pro V1 x’s worth the money they cost?

I was at golfsmith and saw them for 45.99 and I thought what a waste. I can hit the nike power soft’s well and they cost half of what the titleists cost.

In a market economy anything is worth what people are willing to pay for it. The ProV is the numbe one ball on the PGA tour and those guys know what they are doing when it comes to equipment. But for us public course hacks, you can probably score as well or better with a less expensive ball.

What is the perfect golf swing to you?

I play golf and always, my golf teacher/coach or whatever you want to call them finds something wrong with my golf swing.

But I want to hear what the perfect golf swing is to you.

-Erinnerz

Too often, beginning and intermediate golfers try and copy the swings of the pros. This isn’t a good idea, because the pros have hit so many thousands of balls that they can make subtle changes to their swings to achieve more power, more spin on the ball, or an intentional fade or draw. Tiger Woods, for example, utilizes a very late wrist uncock which results in more power and longer drives for him, but would most likely result in an errant drive if a beginner did it. The best swing for a novice golfer is a nice smooth, easy swing with very little or no wrist cocking/uncocking, a smooth weight transfer from back to front foot and a full body turn and follow through.

Have you tried the nike power series golf balls? Especially the powerSoft’s?

I recently bought the Nike PowerSoft balls because i want a ball that feels a little softer than the top flite xl’s i was playing.
I was just wondering what you thought of them and if the power softs are soft feeling or rocks. Also i was wondering if they are over or under priced for $17 a dozen.
Thanks

If you are referring to the Nike PowerDistance golf balls (the PowerSoft model of course) then yes, they are an excellent buy for the recreational golfer. In fact, Consumer Reports recently ranked them #2 overall in their tests, second only to the far pricier Titleist Pro V1. They were also listed as a Consumer Reports "best buy" (april ‘06 issue).

As for how these balls play/feel, I personally think they are outstanding. The PowerSoft has excellent control & is very responsive on the fairways. More advanced players will tell you that they get better results from the V1 inside 100 yards, but unless you fit into that category it’s really not worth 3-4x the price (they generally run in the $50/dozen range)

As for cost, I’ve been finding these balls for $12.99/dozen on sale @ Dick’s Sporting Goods from time to time, and usually around $15.99/dozen when not on sale. For just over $1 a ball you really can’t go wrong here as a recreational player.

Which driver is longer: Titleist 907 D2 or Ping G10 ?

Go with the ping. More forgiving, more power and more distance.
