Best Golf Driver

Hi im 13 years old, I play golf and I hit my Callaway ERC Fusion Stock Regular shaft club about 255 yards. My swing speed is about 95. I want to hit the ball farther and straighter to. I was thinking about getting a Taylor Made r7 to see if I liked it since people said they are great drivers. But I wanted to know should I get the Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana s63 stiff shaft, or should I get a Aldila shaft put in? Should I stay regular or stiff help please? Any suggestions?

im going to say, you dont need any more yardage. your hitting the ball almost as far as my dad(280). but, if you must, id go with the TM r7, which is what i use. i hit about 180-200, but i am problable much smaller than you. my swing spped has see an increase fof about 20-30 after switching off of a driver similar to the Cala erc. just remember, it may matter on yourself and/or your style of play

I’m buying my husband a new golf driver for Valentines Day…..Im clueless when it comes to golf and was hoping someone would know what to look for when buying a driver so I don’t look like a complete idiot at the golf store. Also, what is the price range for a new driver???? Thanks!

When buying golf drivers these are some of the things to look for.

Head size (common with new drivers 460cc)
Swing weight (D0 – D5)
Shaft (stiff, flex, there are different ranges for both)

Shaft lenght (depends how tall you are)
Driver head offset (promotes right to left ball flight)
Driver head loft angle (9.5 – 12.5 degrees)
Lie angle
Bounce

My suggestion is to get him fitted for one as a gift. They will check his swing speed for the right kind of shaft. Depending how good your husband is will depend on the type of driver head, angle etc,… he will want to improve his game.

Good brands are Ping G10, Taylor Made R7, Cleveland HiBore have fun !!

im 15 and am wondering what people think of my golf clubs. i have a taylormade itzy bitzy monza spider putter, taylormade z tp smoke wedges, taylormade tour burner irons, taylormade burner 5 hybrid, taylormade burner 3 hybrid, taylormade burner 3 fairway wood and a 2009 taylormade burner. Also the accessories that i have are a motocaddy s3 electric trolley. 2009 taylormade masters tour bag and a sureshot 8800 gps yardage reader. i also play with srixon zurs golf balls.

I have a taylormade driver with weights that can be changed. When you remove a weight, there is a hole in the clubhead. If I changed weights on a cold day and then played golf on a warm day, would there be more pressure in the clubhead? If so, is that a problem? The club is the R7 460.

Oh my! What a question. You must be some sort of engineer in training. But let me know if it works ’cause I’ll put a valve on my R7 and pump it up with nitrogen if I can get another 15 yards.

I am a golfer and I am looking at getting a new driver. I have a slight draw (hit the ball to the left) and would like something that gives me extra distance. At the moment I hit it anywhere between 180 and 220. I currently use a Titleist 983 with 11 degree loft but looking to upgrade. I am female but the club I use is a mens club. What do you suggest?

Don’t think about extra distance!!! Just think about your swing!! But I will say Taylor Made r7 is the best!!!

The Nike Sasquatch SUMO² 5900 driver is so unbelievably easy to hit. I had a Taylormade R7 425 driver and it wasn’t as good as the Nike. I highly recommend that you get the Nike Sasquatch SUMO² 5900 (if you’re looking into buy a new driver) There are great deals on eBay too!

just wondering ya know taylormade or dunlob or nike

It all depends on what you want to pay, and your swing. If you don’t have a lot of money and have a slice. I would recommend getting a Taylormade r7. I bought one the other day for $150. I am hitting much farther with barely any slice. It has improved my game around 4 strokes in both of my first rounds with it.
